Laura began her dance training at the Raylyn School of Russian Ballet over 30 years ago.  She received a B.S. in dance education at Skidmore College, where she studied the Graham technique with Moss Cohen. She continued on to New York to study on scholarship at the Alvin Ailey School of American Dance, to which she recently returned for a Horton Pedagogy workshop with Ana Marie Forsythe  While in New York she also studied with May O’Donnell, Finis Jhung, Frank Hatchett and at Steps on Broadway.  Laura’s love for theatre led her to the Actor’s and Director’s Lab  and then to California in 1992. There she began teaching dance at the Lycee International Schools of Los Angeles. Returning to New Hampshire with her husband Chris, and daughters Sierra and Christina she met Kathy Blake and  came on board  Laura has performed Off Broadway, at the American Dance Festival, the Palace Theatre and at Scotland’s Edinburgh Festival. She is currently a member  of Saving Grace Dance Ensemble.
